Luke Haslam explained "Being invited to join such a prestigious and well regarded national network, is further evidence and validation of the high standard of client care we are trying to establish in the firm. We are still a young business, but we are trying to ensure that we put in place the best possible procedures to ensure our clients are looked after. EMMERDALE GAME A HUGE CHARITY SUCCESS

The annual charity cricket match between Crakehall Cricket Club and the cast and guests of Emmerdale was another huge success, with over £3000 being raised for Prostate Cancer Awareness. Luke Haslam Estates are proud to sponsor Crakehall Cricket Club, and are delighted to be involved in the day. Over the last few years, the game has raised several thousand pounds for a variety of worthwhile causes. Perhaps the highlight of the day (for Luke at least!!!) was the sight of Luke taking on the bowling of former Yorkshire Captain Ashley Metcalfe. Many thanks to the Emmerdale stars of past and present including Chris Chittel (Eric Pollard), Nicola Wheeler (Nicola King), Nick Miles (Jimmy King), Joe-Warren Plant (Jacob Gallagher), Frazer Hines (Joe Sugden)and Lesley Dunlop (Brenda Walker), as well as their co workers, for the support on the day.

Darren enjoys exam success

Luke Haslam Estates are pleased to announce that Property Manager Darren Ventham has successfully passed his Association of Residential Letting Agents Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Property Management. This exam success allows Darren to use the designatory letters MARLA after his name, and has qualified him for full membership of ARLA. He has also been licensed as a residential letting agent by ARLA. Darrens success is all the more impressive given the short period of time he has been working for the firm. Luke Haslam commented " I am delighted for Darren. He has worked hard to achieve his qualification in such as short space of time, and it is testament to his dedication and professionalism that he has passed the award so soon at the first time of asking. As a firm we are committed to ongoing training and development of our staff, and I am a firm believer that people who are advising the public on what is likely to be their most valuable asset, should be qualified, accountable professionals". Darren has already started his next qualification, and ultimately is aiming to achieve membership of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
